Linda Somers Smith

Linda Somers Smith graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors with a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis in 1983. At U.C. Davis, she also competed in track and cross-country, earning All-American Honors in both sports. She earned her J.D. degree from Martin Luther King, Jr. School of Law at the University of California, Davis, in 1986.

Ms. Somers Smith was an associate with the Sacramento law firm of Kronick, Moskovitz, Tiedemann and Girard for four years prior to taking a corporate management position with a national medical corporation in Concord, California. Ms. Somers Smith also has competed as a world-class marathon runner, competing for the United States in numerous events, including the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, in which she competed as a member of the United States Women’s Marathon Team.

Prior to forming Duggan Smith LLP, she was associated with the law firm of Sinsheimer, Schiebelhut & Baggett in San Luis Obispo. She practices in the areas of business and transaction law, real property, land use, business succession planning, and health care.
